TITLE: BEER-THYME BISCUITS

- 3 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
- 2.5 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
- 1.5 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
- 1 TEASPOON SALT
- 1 TABLESPOON LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
- 10 SPRIGS THYME, STRIPPED FROM STEMS
- 3 TABLESPOONS MELTED BUTTER
- 1 CUP COLD DARK BEER (BASS ALE)
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES
MIX THE DRY INGREDIENTS AND THYME TOGETHER IN A LARGE BOWL UNTIL COMBINED. ADD THE MELTED BUTTER AND BEER AND STIRE WITH A WOODEN SPOON UNTIL MIXTURE BEGINS TO HOLD TOGETHER.
- TURN DOUGH ONTO A WORK SPACE AND KNEAD GENTLY UNTIL THE DOUGH COMES TOGETHER INTO A BALL.
- FLATTEN DOUGH INTO A LOAF SHAPE & USING A KNIFE DIVIDE IT INTO 6 PIECES
- BAKE TILL GOLDEN BROWN AND FIRM TO THE TOUCH
