TITLE: Meemaws Pepper Jelly

* 2 Large Red Bell Peppers

* 1-2 Hot Jalepeno Peppers

* 1 & 1/2 Cups Vinegar

* 6 Cups of Sugar

* 1 Box Certo (2 Pkgs)

1. Cut red peppers into halves, throwing away seeds & white areas

2. Take jalepenos and cut off stem only, then cut into three pieces, but put in seperate bowl from red peppers.

3. Use blender or food processor and put one third of vinegar into blender with 2 halves of a red pepper torn into pieces along with 1 of the three jalepeno pieces, then grate up in blender until pureed. Then pour into pot.

4. Repeat this process two more times until all peppers are pureed and added to pot

5. Add sugar, stir well.

6. Put pot on stove and bring to boil, when it reaches a boil cook for two minutes, be careful not to burn or overflow.

7. After 2 minutes are up turn to low heat and add 2 packages of Certo and mix together very well.

8. Take off heat and pour into sterlized jars.

9. Then seal and let sit - make sure you dont touch the seals after boiling them along with jars.

10. Makes 4-6 jars depending on size of jars.
