- 2 TABLESPOONS WINE VINEGAR
- SALT AND FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER
- 6 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
- CHOOSE AN OIL AND VINEGAR THAT COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER WELL AS THE FOOD THEY WILL DRESS.
- COMBINE VINEGAR, SEASONINGS AND ANY OTHER FLAVORINGS IN A BOWL
- WHISK IN THE OIL IN A SLOW STEADY STREAM
- ALLOW THE FURNISHED DRESSING TO REST A FEW HOURS AT ROOM TEMPATURE BEFORE USING SO THAT THE FLAVORS CAN BLEND.
- RE-WHISK IMMEDIATELY BEFORE USE.
